Question: Do you think education is important?
I believe education is important in our day in age. Education is important because it allows you to explore different subjects and can give you more opportunities in life. For example, someone who goes into a job interview with some sort of college degree may appear more fit for the position then someone who finished with a high school diploma. However it really depends what kind of job field you are trying to go into. Many jobs are available for people who don't have a college education.
Question: How do you feel learning vs. performing in class?
I feel like I learn better than performing. When I am in class I take in the information that is given to me fairly well but when my teachers give tests or quizzes I usually feel stumped and confused even though I know the contents of the test. Visual representations in class are always a way of learning that I have gravitated to because I like being able to see how to do the problem.

I feel like I did significantly well because I spent an adequate amount of time and put a lot of energy into this essay.
Question: How was the process of writing it?
I think the process of writing this essay was pretty strait forward because we were given enough time in class to gather out thoughts about the subject and we were given all the tools to performs as instructed.
Question: What do you feel good about?
I feel good about m evidence I gathered. I spent a lot of time watching the videos over and over again and put a lot of thought into how I was going to work the quotes into the essay.
Question: What do you want to improve upon going forward?
I have learned a lot about writing essays in this class and look forward to perfecting my craft and writing the next essay with even more evidence and analysis.
Question: Having finished your first full essay, how do you feel about it? Strengths? Improvements? Things to work on?
After finishing my first full essay in this class this year I feel confident in my writing abilities moving on. I feel my strengths during this essay were time management and vocabulary. I think I significantly improved my flow and vocabulary during the writing portion of this activity. I think some things I could work on going on from this activity are use of quotes and I should improve my sentence structure.
Question: Provide at least two examples from your essay.
In my essay I misspelled a decent amount of words. In my essay I misspelled significantly and catastrophic. In a whole I will need to work on my grammar moving on.
Question: What did you do for your English informative essay, and why.
My group and I decided to tackle the issue of Climate change. For my informative essay I talked about what climate change was and how it affects everyone. I added ways I believed could help solve the problem and what students in San Marin could do to help.
Question: How was researching and writing your topic? What am I improving on? What do I still need to work on? Is there anything I still feel really blocked in that is very hard?
The process of researching and writing an essay on my topic felt challenging, yet I realized throughout the project work time that I enjoyed every minute of it. I am improving on my writing ability and as the year progresses I am realizing that my vocabulary is getting stronger. I still felt rushed and stress out about the amount of time we had to do the entire project. I think this is a result of my bad time management so I need to work on making more time for activities in class like this moving forward. I think that I am at a point in my academic writing career where I don´t feel limited or blocked in any way.

This process of writing and brainstorming ideas for a final paper worth a huge part of my grade was not enjoyable. I felt rushed and very confused throughout the entire process.
I struggle with formatting when writing essays.
I improved upon my writing skills and some of my formatting, but felt confused on my critiques as they seemed to misguide me from the root of the problem.
I was most interested in the cause and affects of people who misuse opiates.
